Be Prepared: The Buffalo Stake leadership asked all individuals and families in the Stake to prepare a 72-hour kit by January 31, 2012.  Are you ready? Visit the Relief Society blog for suggestions on items to include in your kit.  Set a schedule to rotate the items in your kit every 6 months (General Conference weekend is a good time for this.) More information about self reliance is available at www.providentliving.org.  

August Calendar

16—Relief Society Picnic, 6:30 at Cathy Owens’ home (33 Thornbury Drive, East Amhers, 14051).  This is a Potluck, so please bring a dish to pass (meat will be provided).  Bring a friend! Carpooling is encouraged.

18—Primary Trip to Palmyra, Visit the Temple, Sites. This would be a great day for all of us to attend the temple.

25—Ward Family Picnic at Krull Park in Olcott, 4:00 p.m., Shelter 16.  Meat will be provided.  Please bring a generous dish to pass, and your own drinks and utensils.
